The workshop on “Representation of Women in Turkish Literature from Past to Present” organized by Istanbul Medeniyet University, Department of Turkish Language and Literature, has been completed on February 13, 2021. The online workshop which began with the opening speech by Prof. Dr. Muharrem DAYANÇ, Head of Turkish Language and Literature Department, included presentations by a wide range of academicians and participation of the audience.
The first session of the workshop was moderated by Asst. Prof. Dr. Betül ÖZBAY. Asst. Prof. Dr. Neşe IŞIK chaired the second session. The following papers were presented in the sessions:

The workshop concluded with a Q&A and evaluation session. The Department of Turkish Language and Literature, Istanbul Medeniyet University aims to continue its efforts to contribute to academic studies on women with further events.
